How much does it cost?
Our service is voluntary and we are dependent on grants to fund us. All donations are welcomed and can go towards making a difference to peoples' lives, so please help us if you can. If you are experiencing financial difficulties or are unemployed of course we would understand.
What does counselling involve?
A session normally lasts an hour.
You will be given an opportunity to talk about what is happening. Feelings and emotions are talked about and most people are surprised by how much this relieves the tension. Your counsellor will support you, won't judge you or take sides, but help you explore why these issues have arisen S/he will help you to share your feelings with your partner Most people find this a positive experience it helps you resolve things, enables better communication and usually has a good outcome for all areas of life.
I'm already separated/divorced can I still get help?

I'm gay, can couple counselling help with my relationship problems?
Yes, counselling is provided regardless of sexual orientation.
My partner is having an affair?
This is not an uncommon situation. Many couples go through this difficult time, with help they can recover from this and go on to build a better relationship. Recent evidence indicates that 75% of couples stay together after an affair. With skilled help we can help you work this through in a non judgemental atmosphere.
How can sex therapy help me?
People often find it difficult to talk about problems in their sex life, working with a therapist will help you to work out how to cope the problems you're having
You do not need to feel embarrassed, it is easier to discuss than you might think. Almost all clients report that counselling has significantly improved their sex life.
